The partition of
Mandatory Palestine
Into two states.

Following the resolution
Masses of people
Danced in the streets
Of Tel Aviv,
Joyful at the
Establishing of
A Jewish state.

These days,
It is mainly
The Palestinians
Who mark
This date
To remind that
Their state
Has not yet
Been established.

In 1947
As well as
In 2021
The position of the
International Community
Was and remains:
There are
Two nations here
And both have
National rights,
Particularly the right
To establish an
Independent state.
