(3) Invitation: Dialogues of Survivors in Delhi and Ahmedabad (5th and 6th March)

Aman Biradari has organised two Remembrance and Reflection Meetings, mainly Dialogues of Survivors. The first of these will be in Delhi at JNU (Centre for Arts and Aesthetics) on 5 March, 2012, in collaboration with the Programme for Discrimination and Exclusion, School of Social Sciences, JNU. The programme will be from 2 to 4.30 pm. It will involve a Dialogue of Survivors of sites of earlier major communal massacres – Nellie (1983), Delhi (1984), Bhagalpur (1989), Gujarat (2002) and Kandhamal (2007-08). The programme will end with songs for peace, communal harmony and justice by Vidya Rao.


The second programme will be in Ahmedabad on 6 March, 2012, from 1 to 9 pm, at the Chippa Community Centre, Astodia road, Ahmedabad-380001. In this meeting, we will also reflect on the struggles of the survivors, community peace and justice workers and lawyers in the fight for legal justice.
