Moderated by activist Charlotte Bunch, the panel held today on Tradition, Culture and Religion: Affirming Existing Human Rights Agreements to Strengthen Efforts to Eradicate VAW was organized by Association for Women´s Rights in Development- AWID.

The speakers were: Shareen Gokal, Manager of the Resisting and Challenging Religious Fundamentalisms Initiative of AWID, María Consuelo Mejía of Católicas por el Derecho a Decidir, México and Sussan Tahmasebi from Irán, representing the organization International Civil Society Action Network.
