USA:Washington, DC, A memorial for Sabeen Mahmud will be held in front of the Pakistani embassy on Saturday May 2 at 1 PM.

Embassy of Pakistan, Washington DC
3517 International Ct NW, Washington (district de Columbia) 20008

Pakistan and Karachi lost a hero on Friday. Please join us outside the Pakistan Embassy in Washington DC to commemorate the life and work of Sabeen Mahmud.

Sabeen was a human rights activist who was killed on Friday April 25th. We will be commemorating her life and her struggle for a more peaceful Pakistan.

Feel free to bring flowers and candles. We will aim to meet outside the Pak Embassy in the early afternoon.

For parking, check the other side of Van Ness Metro Station - near Israeli embassy. It’s Passport DC day so it’s expected to be crowded and you may want to come a little early.
