16 October 2021, by siawi3Experts say the public deserves to see the list, a clear embodiment of U.S. foreign policy priorities that could disproportionately censor marginalized groups.

16 octobre 2021, par siawi3La religion, distinguée de la foi subjective, y est considérée comme une imposture qui n’apporte pas ce qu’elle prétend apporter : ni le vrai, ni le bien, ni un quelconque progrès politique.

Deathly Silence: Journalists Who Mocked Assange Have Nothing to Say About CIA Plans to Kill Him
16 October 2021, by siawi3It would seem that covert plans for the state-sanctioned murder on British soil of an award-winning journalist should attract sustained, wall-to-wall media coverage. The news, however, has been met by Western establishment media with ghoulish indifference—a damning indictment of an industry that feverishly condemns attacks on press freedom in Official Enemy states.

Global - UK - US: Tribunal to combat disinformation on the prosecution of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange
17 October 2021, by siawi3Now the US and its allies are to be put on ‘trial’ by a tribunal. They are accused of committing atrocities (around 4 million (2 million in Iraq from 1991-2003, plus 2 million from the ‘war on terror’), and could be as high as 6-8 million people when accounting for higher avoidable death estimates in Afghanistan). While the tribunal possesses no legal powers, it’s intention is to set the record straight and demonstrate that Assange is not the criminal here.

Fifteen Years Since Assange Established WikiLeaks
18 October 2021, by siawi3Today marks fifteen years since WikiLeaks was founded by Australian publisher Julian Assange on October 4, 2006. In the years since, the small media organisation, founded on a shoestring, has become synonymous with the courageous exposure of government and corporate crimes, as well as the ever-more ferocious attempts of state agencies and the ruling elites to censor the internet and suppress independent journalism.
“Authoritarian regimes create forces which oppose them by pushing against a people’s will to truth, love and self-realization. Plans which assist authoritarian rule, once discovered, induce further resistance. Hence such schemes are concealed by successful authoritarian powers until resistance is futile or outweighed by the efficiencies of naked power.”Julian Assange 2007.
For my staff and me, WikiLeaks will always strive to be an intelligence agency of the people. And we will always—as long as whistle-blowers are willing to act as heroes—act like merely decent human beings.” Julian Assange, 2011. -

The Children of “An Infinity of Cultures*”: A Human Rights Approach to Cultural Mixing
26 October 2021, by siawi3Faced with rising claims about monolithic cultures and cultural “purity” around the world, and with rising threats in many contexts, whether of the destruction of the cultural diversity of Afghanistan or the erasure of mixed identities in Japan, the speakers will address how those who value rights-respecting cultural openness and hybridity can defend these practices. How can we preserve histories of cultural mixing in the past and ensure their possibilities in the present and future so as to protect cultural rights for all?

Educating the host: It’s not just refugees who need ‘integration’ programmes
23 October 2021, by siawi3The international community must shift the ‘capacity to integrate’ formula from the refugees to the local ‘hosts’, and acknowledge the need for a real plan with long-term, mandatory educational programmes.

« #MeToo, une illusion de libération et un vrai terrorisme intellectuel » - Sabine Prokhoris
23 octobre 2021, par siawi3Le simple fait de formuler une critique sur #MeToo passe pour inacceptable : un blasphème en somme. Il s’agit du déchaînement d’une parole accusatrice, fondée sur une auto-assignation militante à une identité-victime. Une illusion de libération.
