20 février, par siawi3Le 2 janvier, elle avait entamé une grève de la faim, dans la prison de Katchoï à Karaj, dans le nord de l’Iran, où elle est incarcérée depuis plus de trois mois. Un geste fort, suivi par 14 codétenues, pour protester contre « les conditions inhumaines et indignes dans lesquelles elles étaient détenues mais aussi du harcèlement et des tortures subis » dont les viols systématiques. Interrogé le 7 décembre 1986 sur l’utilisation massive du viol dans les prisons, le Guide Suprême a répondu : « Oui ! De tels viols sont essentiels pour empêcher ces femmes anti-islam d’entrer au paradis. Si elles sont exécutées vierges, elles entreront au paradis. Donc, les viols sont extrêmement importants pour empêcher ces éléments d’entrer au paradis. »
