L’Américain James Foley, exécuté par des militants de l’Etat islamique, était un journaliste courageux qui n’hésitait pas à se rendre dans les endroits les plus dangereux pour raconter les histoires de civils pris dans le chaos de la guerre. Le reporter de 40 ans avait été pris en otage en novembre 2012 en Syrie avant d’être exécuté par les jihadistes extrémistes de l’Etat islamique (EI). La vidéo de son exécution diffusée mardi a provoqué des réactions horrifiées de par le monde.
